In Hastings there is an art collective like no other. Zoom Arts is primarily a self funding group of creative artists from every discipline imaginable, who regularly hold exhibitions to showcase individual members own art work.

The group was founded in 2005 by Robert Maxted and John Scowen after leaving education. Their sole ambient was to create a working group which was able to exhibit art.

In 2015 Zoom was able to open its very own gallery in St Leonards and to date have held over fifty exhibitions and plan to have many more.

Zoom Arts is a non profit organization, unreliant of charity or public funding. Zoom is also unique as members are only charge £5 a month this allows artists to exhibit as many times as they wish, at their own gallery, this also includes public liability with 100% of sales going to the artist.
